PDFs, including scans
Native PDFs retain their page structure. For scanned or photographed pages, OCR recovers text, reading order and table geometry before translation, then the translated content is placed back against the original visual layout.

Excel workbooks
Cells are translated without flattening the workbook. Formulas keep their references, merged cells stay merged and number, date and currency formats are not silently converted into something the source never asked for.
